Tobias Stretch

This website belongs to Tobias Stretch who just directed an absolutely amazing video for Efterklang. Click on 'Illuminant' at his site to watch it. Stretch is doing a lot of different things but it's all very good. I also like his Myspace-bio which is brief but to the point: 'I have mental problems and I make art'.

Nicolai Howalt

This website belongs to Nicolai Howalt who is one of my favourite photographers. The last couple of years Nicolai and his wife Trine Søndergaard has been exploring the Danish countryside producing images that are simply beautiful and timeless. The couple is currently showing a series of new pictures called 'Treezone' at Charlottenborg in Copenhagen. The pictures below are from 'How to Hunt' completed in 2005.

Suzanne Vega: Toms Diner (Titts Remix)

This is a remix by Tittsworth of Tom Diner by Suzanne Vega. I'm not a big fan of cheap remix tricks (taking a massive hit and putting the flavour-of-the-month beat on it) but this doesn't really qualify as one and I just love Toms Diner too much to pass on this track. Carefull though: this tune will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day if you listen to it. In fact: it's stuck in your head right now isn't it?

Stateless: Bloodstream (Pilooski edit)

This is a remix by Pilooski of a track by Stateless. I have been absolutely addicted to this track for a while now and the spell simply does not seem to wear off. Pilooski is doing a lot of interesting things at the moment so keep an eye on their site.

David Bray

This is the portfolio of David Bray who is a British illustrator. I first came across his beautiful drawings on the Mary Ann Hobbes compilation Warrior Dubz. David Bray also makes the artwork for Various Productions.

Farah: The Only One

This is a track by Farah. She is out on Italians Do It Better who releases wonderfull melancholic music sometimes reminiscent of Giorgio Moroder and Bobby O but less disco. Sort of indie italo.

Lady Smita: Flex (Lasse Lyngbo Remix)

This is a remix I've made of a track by Danish rapper Lady Smita. Smita is currently spreading her old school vocal stylings all over Copenhagen - you may have heard her voice on 'Du Får Ik Punani' by Firehouse.

The Daily Nice

This page is a brilliant place to start your day. Photographer Jason Evans uploads a picture every day and his images never ceases to amaze me. The title of his project Beauty Where You Find It seems to be the philosophy behind these photos.

Son My: By Night (Luftguitar Remix)

This is a remix by Luftguitar of the Danish band Son My. It's a really moody house track that carefully avoids all the things I don't like about that genre.

Ljudbilden og Piloten

This blog belongs to Kristofer Ström who makes amazing animations and illustrations. Check out the genius china plate animations and the award winning video for Minilogue (which by the way is a band worth checking out).
I know Kristofer because he is also in the band Lemko Hall who were on Speakerphone Recordings at the same time as Diefenbach.
